ViciaMYL is a gluten-free starch concentrate from the fava bean and has a great gelling capacity.

This fava bean starch concentrate still contains around 15% of valuable protein and is, therefore, it is an excellent ingredient for different technical and nutritional purposes.

Food applications for which ViciaMYL has been tested by our R&D team are laminated and extruded snacks, potato or corn replacer, and gluten free pasta.
